Nursery Admission Documents

  1. Child’s passport size photograph (colored).
    1. The photograph must be recent, preferably not older than 6 months.
    2. The background should be white.
    3. Father’s/ Guardian’s passport size photograph (colored).
  2. The photograph must be recent, preferably not older than 2 years.
  3. The background should be white.
  4. Mother’s/ Guardian’s passport size photograph (colored).
  5. The photograph must be recent, preferably not older than 2 years.
  6. The background should be white.
  7. Family photograph, including grandparents if the child is living with them.
  8. The photograph must be recent, preferably not older than 3 months.
  9. All family members must be in a single photo.
  10. The background should be white.
  11. A family photograph is mostly required in Tier-1 city schools only like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Pune.
  12. Aadhar Card of the child (both sides).
  13. Aadhar Card of both parents (both sides).
  14. Birth Certificate of the child duly issued by the Municipal Corporation and countersigned by the Registrar of Birth.
  15. Medical fitness certificate of the child, including the vaccination card.
  16. You need to get it from your pediatrician or any registered medical practitioner.
  17. The medical fitness certificate should bear the child’s name, date of birth, and other medical information (like height, weight, blood group, any allergies, any disease, etc.) with the name and signature of the RMO and his/her registration number.
  18. Residential Proof, having address same as mentioned on the admission form (any of the following)-
    1. Voter ID Card (both sides)
    2. Ration card issued in the name of any parent bearing child’s name as well
    3. Passport in the name of any parent (both sides)
    4. Electricity bill/ Telephone bill/ Water bill in the name of any parent
    5. Aadhar Card of any of the parents or child
  19. In case of any sibling (child of the same parent) studying in the same school, latest fee receipt and identity card of the sibling.
  20. In case of alumni parents (mother or father studied in the same school), provide the Class XII examination passing certificate and CBSE mark sheet issued by the concerned authority.
  21. In the case of single-parent, provide marital status proof (divorce decree or death certificate issued by the concerned authority).
  22. In the case of staff parents, provide a valid identity card issued by the school.
  23. In the case of Minorities, provide minority certificates issued by the religious group or community.
  24. In case of Transfer, posting, or transfer order to the city along with the joining letter.

Documents required for admission in Class 2nd to Class 9th and Class 11th

In addition to all documents as mentioned above, the examination pass certificate of the previous class is required for admission in Class 2nd to Class 9th and Class 11th. School authorities may also ask for admission tests.

How to upload documents

Nowadays, most of the schools invite applications through online mode only, i.e. fill the application form online along with the scanned copy of all required documents and submit them. While uploading the scanned copy of documents required for the registration of your child, you should take care of the following points-

  • In the case of photographs, crop the image so that only the required photograph (face, shoulder, and half chest) is visible.
  • In the case of documents, crop the image so that only the required area of the document is visible.
